All children are invited to get involved with tons of fun and exciting activities this summer! SeekingSitters is offering an At Home Summer Camp program that runs every weekday from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. Each day has a special theme with fun activities! Not only is the entire event planned for you, but each camper will be connected with other campers virtually for an interactive "camping" simulation!
Each day is specifically themed and has a challenge associated with the theme. The beginning of each day starts with projects associated with Arts, Crafts, and STEM. After these activities conclude, the campers are given a challenge that relates to the daily theme. Once the challenge is completed, the campers will break of into a short period of free time. To end the day, the campers will complete one final fun and exciting activity before wrapping everything up and beginning the cleanup process. Some of the activities in this program were inspired by Haeley Giambalvo from Design Improvised. She has created this great at home camp with unique themes for each week. To get a better idea of how these themes can be used to create fun activities, check out this article from Fun365!
How does this program work? All challenges are held through the online platform GoToMeeting. This is an app that can be downloaded directly to your smart device! Once you have signed up and are in the At Home Summer Camp, you will be sent a link for each day's challenge.
